Water restrictions on Emperor Fountain and Cascade

With very little rain during June and July this year our water supplies are running very low. Our water features rely on water from the lakes above Chatsworth, so in an effort to conserve water, from Thursday 27 July the Emperor Fountain and Cascade will only be operating from 12-1pm and 3-4pm. We apologise for the inconvenience and hope that visitors will still be able to enjoy the garden and view the features during the specified times.

It's one one of the effect of climate change, though I love water features because it makes me calm but if this problem occurs we need to understand the situation.
Have you thought of pumping the water back up to the lakes so that it can be used again? Seems an obvious solution to me. You could also try putting different coloured dyes in the water to produce coloured effects throughout the day; plain water coloured water can look boring after a while.
