The Chatsworth team were winners in two categories at last night’s Peak District and Derbyshire Excel awards.
Doreen Motley won “Unsung Hero” for the fantastic job she does as part of the team who answer the thousands of telephone calls that we receive at Chatsworth, and Kay Rotchford won “Event Planner of the Year” recognizing the great job that Kay and her team do to make every event at Chatsworth special.
Well done to both of them and everyone else at Chatsworth who has worked so hard to get us ready for re-opening.

Well done Doreen, what a star!!!!!
It could not have happened to two nicer people - how fantastic. In 19 years, I never heard Doreen lose her cool, ever, even when she was asked the most unbelievable or bizarre questions on the phone, or when technology failed her. And Kay is a ray of sunshine on any dark day - so positive and passionate about making things better. Hope her acceptance speech wasn't too long?!
